Dr. Konerman is interested in clinical risk prediction for adverse clinical outcomes for patients with chronic liver disease. She is also interested in issues of access to care for patients with chronic liver disease, with a particular interest in access to curative treatments for patients with chronic hepatitis C. At a public health level, she is interested in the liver-related disease burden resulting from the evolving obesity epidemic, namely patients with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease
