Mehdi Osooli MSc, PhD

Mehdi Osooli as Epidemiologist and research coordinator at the ​Department of Medicine Solna, Division of Clinical Epidemiology, managed research activities including external collaborations, industry-sponsored pharmacoepidemiology projects, and engage in enhancing epidemiologic knowledge among our staff. His research focuses on the state and determinants of inflammatory bowel disease mainly among the residents of the Nordic Countries. He is especially interested to conduct register-based pharmacoepidemiology and PASS studies to investigate treatment efficiency and adverse drug reactions for newly-launched treatment products. I am also interested in investigating psychosocial determinants and outcomes of IBD.
