Suleyman Engin Akhan

Suleyman Born in Manisa in 1966, Dr. Suleman Engin Akhan graduated from Saint Benoit French Boys High School between 1977-1985 and completed his medical education at Uludag University Faculty of Medicine between 1986-1992. Between February 1993 and July 1993, Dr.Akhan Tıpta, who was serving as Head of the Adiyaman Besni Tuberculosis Dispensary, received his Specialization Examination and completed specialist training in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Istanbul Faculty of Medicine between 1993-1997. Between 5.11.1997 - 12.03.2003, Dr.Akhan was appointed as an associate professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Istanbul Medical Faculty on 12.03.2003. On 17/12/2009 Dr.Akhan was awarded as a professor by the Istanbul University Senate and the Board of Directors with his academic studies. Dr. Akhan is a member of the Board of Directors of the Turkish Gynecology and Obstetrics Society Istanbul Branch between 2004-2006, and Dr. Akhan is a Member of the Board of Directors of the Turkish Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology between 2004 and 2006.
Dr. Akhan is a member of the Board of Directors of the Turkish Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology Member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Turkish Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery between 2005-2007 and Member of the Board of Directors of the Turkish Society of Gynecology and Obstetrics between 2006 and 2010 and TJOD Delegation of Istanbul. In 2011 Prof. Dr. Süleyman Engin Akhan was awarded a certificate of expertise in the field of "Gynecologic Oncology Surgery" as a result of 1 year evaluation made by TC Ministry of Health's Expert Committee on Tıpta.
