Roman Jaeschke MD, MSc, FRCPC

Dr. Jaeschke is a clinician-educator at McMaster University. He is the Physician Lead for the Critical Care Response Team at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton. This is also the site where he conducts his clinical practice in critical care and general internal medicine. He is regularly teaches at an undergraduate and postgraduate level on topics of critical care medicine and evidence-based practice. Throughout his clinical practice, he supervises learners of all levels including medical students and residents from numerous specialties.

Other teaching activities include tutoring clinical clerks during medical rotations, teaching during courses organized by Canadian Resuscitation Institute for critical care response team members and for physicians (ACES courses – acute critical events simulation), and teaching concepts of EBM during both McMaster and international workshops.
