Nicollette Pauksta

Nicollette Leigh Pauksta MSNA, BSN, CRNA Greer, South Carolina Current Employment: Nicollette is contracting as a staff CRNA at Spartanburg Medical Center. She has 14 years of nursing experience with the last 7 years focused in anesthesia. Education: Nicollette earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from Clemson University in 2003, graduating with honors in Sigma Theta Tau. In addition, she earned a Master of Science in Nurse Anesthesia Degree from The Medical University of South Carolina in 2007, graduating with academic honors. She attended the Academy of Holy Angels High School in 1999 and was both recognized for academic, athletic, student government and volunteer success. Professional Organizations: Nicollette has been a member of AANA and SCANA since 2006 when she enrolled as a student. As a member Nicollette has participated in lobbying on Capitol Hill and in the South Carolina State House. Currently she sits on the South Carolina Association of Nurse Anesthetists (S.C.A.N.A.) as a Trustee. Nicollette has recently joined the Malignant Hyperthermia Association of the US (MHAUS), and is a member of the Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) Society. Other Professional Organizations include Interim Secretary of the Student Nurses Association in 1999-2002. Finally, she was a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses in 2003. Community Involvement: Currently Nicollette is a member of the Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary and has organized a children's library in the women and children's shelter, and is actively working on incorporating a children's reading program at the shelter. Nicollette was awarded a Four-Year Academic/Athletic Letterman Honor Roll while participating as a ACC Division I Athlete on the Clemson University Rowing Team. Personal: Nicollette is an active mom with 2 children, Adrian Xavier age 7 and Lillian Reese age 2. She participates in multiple recreational activities and loves traveling and exploring the beautiful world.
