Matthew P. Lungren MD, MPH

Dr. Lungren received his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, in English Literature and B.S. degree in Biology from Arizona State University in 2002. He went on to University of Michigan Medical School where he graduated cum laude and AOA in 2007, also receiving the University’s radiology outstanding scholar award. He completed a transitional internship at Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn, Michigan, from 2007-2008, and then completed his radiology residency at Duke University from 2008 to 2012 where he was chief resident. He stayed at Duke for a one-year adult IR fellowship (2012-2013) and then went to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital as a fellow in pediatric radiology and pediatric interventional radiology prior to joining Stanford.
