John E. Allen DMD

Dr. Jay Allen has been practicing in New London, Connecticut since1982. He is proud of his diploma from Regis High School in Manhatten, New York. He received his Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from Fordham University in 1974. He received his Doctor of Dentistry and Medicine (DMD) from The Fairleigh Dickinson School of Dentistry in 1978. He followed that by completing his General Practice Residency at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville, New Jersey.

Dr. Allen has devoted significant time in his career for voluntary service. Professionally he has been involved with the new London County Dental Society and was president in the mid-nineties. He is senior active staff at Lawrence and Memorial Hospital. He presently is on The Board of Directors of the Hospital and serves as Treasurer. He is actively involved with the Hospital's Capital Campaign. Past service has included volunteer time on the Boards of The United Way, The Community Foundation of Southeastern Connecticut, The Pine Point and The Williams schools.
