David Linville BS, MD, EdD

Dr. Linville serves as the Associate Vice President for Health Affairs and Secretary of the Board of Trustees at East Tennessee State University. In his role as Associate Vice President, Dr. Linville is part of the senior leadership team of the Academic Health Science Center at the university which includes the colleges of nursing, medicine, pharmacy, public health, and clinical and rehabilitative health sciences. He is a professor of medical education and teaches in a pathophysiology integration course for medical students. He is a graduate of the James H. Quillen College of Medicine and received his doctor of education in higher education leadership from East Tennessee State University.
