Clemens R. Scherzer, MD directs The Neurogenomics Laboratory at Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, is the Co-Founder and Co-Director of the Harvard NeuroDiscovery Center Biomarkers Program, and Associate Professor of Neurology at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Scherzer is the recipient of the Dr. Paul Beeson Award, the George C. Cotzias Memorial Award, and an Edmond J. Safra Global Genetics Consortium Award of the Michael J. Fox Foundation. He serves on the Editorial Boards of Neurogenetics and Biomarkers in Medicine and on the Steering Committees of the MJFF’s Parkinson Progression Marker Initiative (PPMI) as well as the NINDS’ Parkinson Biomarker Program (PDBP).
