Christine M. Swanson MD, MCR

Dr. Christine M. Swanson earned her medical degree from Tulane University, completed her Internal Medicine residency at the Mayo Clinic, and fellowship in Endocrinology at Oregon Health and Science University. She is board-certified in Endocrinology, an ISCD-Certified Clinical Densitometris,t and a physician-scientist at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. Her clinical interests include metabolic bone diseases such as osteoporosis and disorders of calcium and vitamin D metabolism. Dr. Swanson's research on the skeletal effects of disrupted sleep is funded by the NIH, an internal award from the Department of Medicine at CU, and the Ludeman Center for Women's Health Research.
