Brian Ness MS, PA-C

Brian Edward Van Ness, MS, PA-C currently works as a full-time Physician Assistant in the Surgical and Trauma ICU at Hackensack University Medical Center and part-time as a Physician Assistant for the Surgery, Traum, and Neurosurgery Service at Jersey City Medical Center. Mr. Van Ness graduated from the Physician Assistant program at Seton Hall University and the University of Medicine and Dentistry in NJ in 2002.

Prior to graduating from PA school, Mr. Van Ness was a Registered Nurse for 10 years working in the ER/Trauma Resuscitation and the Surgical and Trauma ICU at Morristown Medical Center in NJ. Currently, Mr. Van Ness is also an adjunct professor in the Physician Assistant programs at Seton Hall University in NJ and Mercy College and Wagner College in NY. He was an invited speaker at the EAST annual conference in 2015 and the NJ State Society of Physician Assistants annual 2015 conference, speaking about Surgical Critical Care. Mr. Van Ness was honored as the NJ State Physician Assistant of the Year in 2013.
