Angeliki Tsapanou MS, PhD

Dr. Tsapanou is a Clinical Neuropsychologist, with a BA in Psychology (National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, GR), an MSc in Clinical Neuropsychology (Medical School of Athens, GR), and a Ph.D. degree in Clinical Neuropsychology/Neurology (Medical School of Athens, GR). Currently, she is an Associate Research Scientist at the Cognitive Neuroscience Division of Columbia University, New York, NY. Her main interest is the human brain function, and more precisely, its relation with factors such as sleep. She has a great interest in exploring how sleep problems may be associated with brain morphology and genetics, across ages. Furthermore, this information can lead to new research on the association between sleep and neurodegenerations, especially dementia in older adults.
