Texas Society for Gastroenterology and Endoscopy (TSGE)

The Texas Society for Gastroenterology and Endoscopy is the statewide membership organization specifically dedicated to the issues and challenges facing gastroenterology in Texas today. TSGE was founded in 1976 and thrives today with over 500 members. Through its mission, the Society provides continuing medical education to physicians and nurses and advocacy on behalf of gastroenterology and their patients. These are just a few of the member benefits available to gastroenterologists.

Mission:
• To further knowledge of gastroenterology and gastrointestinal disease
• To further teaching of gastroenterology and gastrointestinal endoscopic methods of examination and to establish the proper use of these methods
• To establish and improve standards of care and skill in the board field of gastroenterology and gastrointestinal endoscopy.
