Neuroradiology is a growing discipline, the range of questions is expanding from year to year, and the treatment options are developing at breathtaking speed. Such innovations require the development of new guidelines, constant further education and training as well as a strong representation of neuroradiology in relation to other medical fields.

As a specialist society, the DGNR has made it its task to stand up for the interests of neuroradiologists and to promote further education and training. At the annual neuroRAD congress , the society invites top-class representatives of the field to keep members up to date.

The German Society for Neuroradiology currently has over 1,100 members, making it the neuroradiology organization with the most members in Europe.
