OVERVIEW

UC Health Long-COVID/PASC Module 4 is organized by David Geffen School of Medicine (DGSOM) at UCLA, Office of Continuing Medical Education and will be held from Nov 21, 2022 - Nov 20, 2025.

Learning Objectives:
At the end of the activity, learners will be able to learn:
• Recognize the most common residual symptoms following hospitalization for COVID-19 pneumonia in adults, focusing on 4 major symptom domains (pulmonary,physical health, cognitive function, and mental health), and basics of treatment
• Discuss ongoing research about COVID-19 in the Bay Area
• Identify principles behind Long COVID clinics/Post-ICU Clinics
• Understand basic definitions and epidemiology of pulmonary complications in ambulatory patients
• Identify pulmonary complications in ambulatory patients including, natural history, diagnostic workup, and treatment options
