Sleep disorders are prevalent among older adults in the United States. And yet, sleep disorders are less often diagnosed in older adults. This session aims to close this gap by informing the geriatric specialist about the evaluation, management, and treatment of common sleep complaints in older adult. This session will highlight common sleep complaints and the diagnostic tools to aid in the diagnosis of sleep complaints in older adults.  In addition, we will review recommendations for the non-pharmacological/behavioral and pharmacological management of common sleep complaints.  We will conclude our session with a review of sleep consumer technologies, including apps, wearable devices, and related technologies.

Objectives for Webinar:
• By the end of the presentation, the participant will be able to evaluate, diagnose, and manage the common sleep complaints in older adults.
• By the end of this presentation, the participant will be able to understand the basic principles of CBT-I.
• By the end of this presentation, the participant will be able to evaluate pharmacological interventions for the treatment of chronic insomnia in older
  adults.
• By the end of this presentation, the participant will be able to compare the primary delivery platforms for consumer sleep technologies (CSTs).
