Objectives: 
The intended result of this activity is increased knowledge/competence, and upon completion of this course, participants should be able to:
• Discuss the role of surgery in rehabilitative medicine.
• Describe nerve reanimation surgery for patients with severe nerve injuries, spinal cord injuries (SCI) and stroke.
• Apply the concepts of rehabilitative surgery to better coordinate patient treatment plans.
