Overview:
The underdiagnosis and undermanagement of hypoactive sexual desire disorder is in large part due to clinicians’ reluctance to raise issues of sexual health and functioning in their female patients, in addition to a lack of awareness of diagnostic screeners available and evolving therapeutic approaches.

In addition to defining HSDD, this article will also address the barriers that inhibit the appropriate diagnosis and management of HSDD. Also discussed will be the screening tools that allow for diagnosis of HSDD as well as the current therapeutic modalities to manage HSDD.

Learning Objectives:
After participating in this educational activity, participants should be better able to:
• Define hypoactive sexual desire disorder (HSDD)
• Address barriers that inhibit the appropriate diagnosis and management of HSDD
• Identify the screening tools that allow for diagnosis of HSDD
• Identify current therapeutic modalities to manage HSDD

Additional details will be posted as soon as information is available.
