What is the overview of the ONLINE Head&Neck Neuroradiology Fellowship - Neck & Sinuses, Cancer & Trauma Course?
Course Description:
The goal of this short online fellowship is to address selected common head and neck topics and start practicing immediately by learning selected cases together with the mentor. Chosen topics will first be performed in a lecture format, followed by typical cases. The associates will examine the images, first by themselves and then together with the mentor and the group.
The fellowship is a summary of the neck and paranasal sinuses, along with the dedicated coverage of head & neck cancer as well as traumatic injuries, in three consecutive 4-5-hour sessions. There is another short online fellowship addressing other H&N topics (skull base and orbits).
One to two daily lectures will present the knowledge to be implemented during the case reading sessions. Questions and comments are approved during the lectures. After each lecture, the fellows will personally evaluate and read around 10 selected clinical cases. This CME course will be accompanied by a mentor's interpretations, questions, and comments, along with group discussion. Reporting templates will be recommended to help write adequate reports. The participants will have continuous access to the cases, from the week before through the week after the fellowship.
In this fellowship with a limited number of 15 radiologists, you will enhance and strengthen your knowledge and knowledge of head and neck imaging. Interactivity will be established through the Zoom platform, and webcam use is encouraged to enhance the experience of a virtual reading room.
