Managing Hepatitis C Virus: Pharmacoeconomic and Patient Outcomes Considerations is organized by North American Center for Continuing Medical Education (NACCME) and would be held during Dec 31, 2015 - Dec 31, 2016.
The target audience for this medical event are pharmacy directors, medical directors, and other health plan decision makers whose patient population includes individuals infected with HCV. This CME conference has been approved with a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit.
Learning Objectives
After completing this actvity, participants should be able to:
• Review the adherence profiles, safety profiles and effectiveness of established and new pharmacotherapies for the treatment of HCV.
• Assess the impact of inadequate disease control on the clinical and economic burden of HCV.
• Apply clinical evidence and cost-effectiveness data relevant to managed care decision making on new HCV therapies.
• Incorporate institutional strategies that facilitate the appropriate use of newer and emerging HCV therapies.
• Review the extrahepatic manifestations of HCV and their impact on clinical and economic outcome.
