This presentation will review HPV and related disease as well as the ACIP recommendations for the:

  • use of HPV vaccines
  • safety profile of the vaccines 
  • population effectiveness demonstrated after the introduction of HPV vaccines

Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Review epidemiology and outcomes of HPV infection, including trends in HPV related cancers
  • Discuss the importance of HPV vaccination for cancer prevention
  • Discuss possible changes in HPV vaccine recommendations
  • Review recent uptake, safety and impact data
