Description:
This presentation will be a refresher of the techniques required to perform a comfortable and accurate pelvic exam. We will explore cases containing common patient presentations during routine pelvic examinations.
Learning Objectives:
After taking part in this educational activity, participants should be better able to:
- Identify the most comfortable and accurate method to perform a pelvic exam
- Understand the anatomy and physiology of the female genital and reproductive organs
- Recognize the visual appearance of a normal cervix and some common cervical abnormalities
