Local and national leaders present pediatric topics in their area of specialty during this weekly series.

Objectives:
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  • Discuss the increase in pediatric patients' exposure to opioids.
  • Describe treatment of both acute opioid intoxication as well as opioid withdrawal in the pediatric population.
  • Identify steps providers can take to prevent opioid exposures and/or deaths due to opioids.
