Goal:
To explore the reasons and possible solutions for the epidemic of burnout among pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and other healthcare professionals.

Educational Objectives:
Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to:

• Define burnout and identify factors in an unhealthy workplace that can lead to the development of the disease.
• Recognize stress in the workplace with stress at home.
• Explain how the current work state leads to loneliness.
• Express the concept of surplus powerlessness.
• Describe strategies employers can implement to ensure the well-being of employees.
• List self-care approaches for healthcare providers.
