OVERVIEW

This CME/CE course equips physicians and nurses with essential knowledge about antiseizure medications (ASMs) and rescue treatments. It covers treatment goals, practical considerations in selecting ASMs, and strategies for managing adverse effects. The course addresses status epilepticus as a medical emergency and explores special scenarios like Infantile Epileptic Spasms Syndrome (IESS) and Absence Epilepsy.   • Explore special considerations for managing epilepsy in specific scenarios, such as Infantile Epileptic Spasms Syndrome (IESS).
