Course Summary:
This webinar will explore complications, misperceptions and misunderstanding associated with distal radius fractures, flexor tendon injuries, CMC arthroplasty, small joint arthroplasty and nerve decompression. The faculty will discuss strategies to manage patient expectations, enhance patient safety and mitigate the consequences of an untoward outcome.
Objectives:
• Improve ability to identify untoward results both in terms of objective abnormalities and patient perception.
• Improve ability to identify and implement tools to test quantify and qualify the untoward result.
• Develop strategies for mitigating impairment and maximizing patient satisfaction.
