UCSD PACE Professional Boundaries Program is organized by University of California, San Diego School of Medicine (UCSD) Physician Assessment and Clinical Education Program (PACE) and will be held from Aug 24 - 26, 2022.

Description:
The Professional Boundaries Program, a three-day interactive educational program, is designed to help professionals address the problems that lead to misconduct at work.

Objectives include
• Gaining a better understanding of the many factors and issues that can lead to harassment or sexual misconduct at work.
• Increased awareness and understanding about the effects of sexual harassment on victims and the workplace.
• Gaining insight into individual attitudes and paradigms regarding work, power and self-esteem, gender, cultural factors and sexuality.
• Definition of boundary and values
• Improving coping skills.
• Supporting workplace behavior.

PACE developed this program to address the needs of professionals who:
• Has been the victim of sexual harassment or misconduct at work.
• Could be fired, demoted, denied privileges or licensed if they are accused of creating hostile work environments or sexual misconduct.
• Is currently on probation or suspended while being investigated.
• Needs to meet court, state board, or employer recommendations for sexual harassment/misconduct prevention training.
PACE is a dynamic training program for professionals that allows them to receive educational information and a personalized assessment in a confidential, sensitive and supportive environment.
