ONLINE HRCT Fellowship Course is organized by TMC Academy and will be held from Oct 04 - 06, 2021. This Course has been approved for a maximum of 12 EACCME CME Credits.
Target Audience:
The course is aimed at radiologists (all levels), but also pulmonologists and rheumatologists with an interest in interstitial lung diseases.
Description:
This 3-day online fellowship covers key topics related to HRCT of the lung and provides basic and early advanced knowledge. There will be lectures on pattern recognition and interstitial lung diseases with extra focus on fibrotic lung diseases, followed by individual case reading with subsequent group discussion.
The fellowship is an introduction to the field of HRCT of the lung through an interactive program that includes a combination of lectures, individual case reading and group case discussion.
We will discuss pattern recognition and interstitial lung diseases with extra focus on fibrotic lung diseases.
Each module starts with a lecture. After the lecture you will be challenged with practicing on real anonymised key cases from the TMC academy teaching file. After the individual case readings there will be an additional lecture followed by a ‘Questions and Answers’ session.
All sessions are run through an online conference software to ensure full interactivity (sessions will also be recorded).
Learning Objectives:
• To increase knowledge and ability to diagnose interstitial lung diseases
• Identifying UIP/IPF and its most common differential diagnoses

• The Book "HRCT - Pattern recognition and differential diagnosis of Lung disease" by Carl Lamm and Fredrik Ahlfors
