OVERVIEW

Advanced Imaging and Grading Systems for Bone and Soft Tissue Tumours is organized by TMC Academy and will be held from Jun 11 - 13, 2025.

Description:
Join immensely experienced MSK radiologist Dr Avneesh Chhabra as he walks through advanced cancer imaging and grading systems for bone and soft tissue tumours through a series of lectures combined with hands-on case readings followed by group discussions.

This cancer imaging fellowship course will help learners gain knowledge and technical considerations of advanced imaging techniques for bone and soft tissue tumour assessment and how to incorporate them into their practice. It will also give participants the key imaging findings on advanced imaging for bone and soft tissue tumour diagnosis.

The learners will gain knowledge on how to apply tumour severity scoring and management planning tools in their practices using MSK RADS systems

TMC Academy online radiology courses are held in a virtual classroom on Zoom. Participants are encouraged to engage in discussions making use of their camera and microphone to recreate the face-to-face experience. In this small group environment among your peers, you are free to ask questions, make mistakes, and learn together with the support of Dr. Chhabra. Online sessions are recorded so you can review them on your own time following the training.

Learning Objectives:

  • Learn advanced imaging techniques for bone and soft tissue tumour assessment and how to incorporate them into your practice.
  • Gain knowledge of the role of advanced imaging for bone and soft tissue tumor diagnosis with lots of case examples
  • Understand and apply grading systems for tumor severity scoring and management planning using MSK RADS systems.

Programme will Include:

  • Technical lectures on Dixon imaging, DWI, Perfusion imaging, and dual-energy CT (DECT)
  • Case reviews of bone tumours, soft tissue tumours, and tumour-like lesions highlighting the role of conventional and advanced imaging modalities in their characterization, pre-operative planning, and follow-up strategies
  • Discussion of scoring systems, diagnostic algorithms, and how to apply them in your practices
  • Plenty of time for Q&A with Dr. Chhabra
  • Access to presentation slides, session recordings, and other course materials
  • Access to discussed cases after the fellowship
  • Your own personal dashboard and course materials on the TMC ACADEMY radiology training platform
  • Certificate of attendance / CME Certificate - An application has been made to the UEMS/EBR for CME accreditation for this event
