This presentation is designed for OHT’s, dental hygienists and dental therapists as a guide to how to use the ADA Schedule appropriately. Most dental practitioners will be using ADA item numbers on a daily basis, when a health fund or Medicare CDBS conducts an audit of your practice, which item numbers are the most common ones investigated and why? Learn from the mistakes of other dental practitioners how best you can bullet proof your practice to avoid the pain of a health fund audit. OHT’s, dental hygienists and dental therapists are all able to bill through health funds and the CDBS using their own Provider numbers now, learn what your professional obligations are regarding the use of your own provider number, and what are the risks to you personally.
