Over the past few decades, hospitalists have become increasingly present across numerous specialties. GI hospitalists (GIH) are emerging as gastroenterologists who predominantly care for hospitalized patients with GI conditions. This webinar aims to provide an understanding of the GIH role, its potential benefits to modern practice in both the inpatient and outpatient landscape and offers a framework for creating a GIH program.
