A firm grasp of the basics of clinical care for patients with HIV is essential for practitioners in Ryan White HIV/AIDS-funded clinics and programs who are new to HIV care. In this webinar, experts in the field will describe the core principles of HIV management, including pathogenesis of HIV infection and mechanisms of action of antiretroviral drugs, as well as initiating antiretroviral therapy and primary care for people who are newly diagnosed with HIV. This webinar will also be useful to experienced clinicians who seek a review of these core principles.
