Description:
This course is suitable for general dentists, pediatric dentists, endodontists, and other dentists who are interested in dental trauma to permanent dentition. The course will include information from the most recent guidelines by the International Association of Dental Traumatology that were published in 2020.
Objectives:
At the conclusion of this course, participants should be able to:
• Discuss the causes of traumatic injuries and the different ways they can be classified.
• Explain how to diagnose pulp necrosis in patients who have suffered traumatic injuries.
• Describe how root resorption is classified and how it is treated.
• Discuss important concerns regarding the treatment of complicated crown fractures, root fractures, extrusions, intrusions, and avulsions..
