This online workshop is designed to equip you with essential skills and techniques for successful and fulfilling precepting of Advanced Practice Provider (APP) students. By participating, you'll gain practical knowledge through real-life examples and have ample time for interactive discussions, enhancing your precepting abilities.
Learning Objectives:
At the conclusion of this learning activity, participants will be able to:
- Demonstrate self-assessment of readiness to offer a high-quality precepting experience.
- Describe two of the processes within DH for setting up a precepting experience, including the preceptor's necessary checks to ensure that the process has been completed.
- Describe two strategies for effectively providing feedback to students.
