OVERVIEW

Advanced Mammography Positioning Course - Live Webinar is organized by Medical Technology Management Institute (MTMI) and will be held from Dec 05 - 06, 2025.

Description:
Help prevent breast cancer through better diagnostics:
This comprehensive mammography positioning training course is geared for mammography technologists of all levels who want to enhance their current positioning skills and take them to the next level of providing superior patient care in mammography.  Learn the eight image quality attributes for clinical image review in the EQUIP program.

The experienced instructor and positioners will provide you with a comprehensive review of mammography positioning techniques essential to executing a quality mammographer program at breast imaging facilities, techniques on how to properly evaluate clinical images and introducing assessment techniques that will improve your mammogram positioning at your facility, including pursuing mammography accreditation through a credentialing organization such as American College of Radiology™ (ACR).

Educational Objectives:
At the completion of this mammography positioning training course, participants will:
• Discuss the advances in mammographic positioning and techniques to enhance current positioning styles in order to more effectively achieve priority views such as the mediolateral oblique (MLO).
• Provide techniques for image evaluation and assessment techniques.
• Detail the components of Mammography regulation, including the medical audit and pathology report.
• Learn how to implement the Team Approach concept.
• Demonstrate the proper techniques in imaging patients with breast implants.
