Description:
Pediatric cancer care comprises a rapidly evolving field across solid and hematologic malignancies. Advances in treatment strategies including chemotherapeutic, immunotherapeutic, and targeted agents have changed the landscape and expanded the arsenal of available agents for treating pediatric patients. Novel techniques to detect and characterize tumors have further created new opportunities to improve outcomes in pediatric and adolescent/young adult (AYA) patients with cancer.

This virtual educational congress will feature expert updates and interpretation of clinical trial data across a variety of tumor subspecialties pertinent to pediatric cancer. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about emerging therapeutics, novel approaches with currently available agents, ongoing clinical trials, and other clinically relevant developments in pediatric oncology care.

Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

• Examine the utilization of biomarkers and emerging actionable targets in various pediatric malignancies to guide treatment decisions
• Explore the most recent findings from clinical trials, encompassing immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and/or chemotherapy in the realm of pediatric oncology
• Implement optimal approaches for recognizing and addressing potential adverse events linked to pediatric anticancer therapies
• Identify effective management approaches for pediatric patients with cancer in a broad range of clinical scenarios
