Course Description:
Spine radiography is one of the most fundamental aspects of a radiologic technologist’s job. Whether assessing injury or disease, spine radiography has a wide range of indications and applications. This course reviews basic spinal anatomy, radiologic landmarks, technical and exposure factors, and patient care principles. Basic and selected special positions and projections of the spine are covered in detail with positioning illustrations and image evaluation criteria. This course also covers the bone and spinal cord diseases and injuries and provides an integral review of radiation protection principles.

This course is based on a printed and bound reference created by Jeana Fleitz, M.Ed., RT(R)(M). This course has a corresponding test containing 110 multiple choice and true/false questions.

Additional details will be posted as soon as information is available.
