Description:
We will cover new updates in colon cancer screening, management of uterine fibroids, treatment of osteoporosis, CPAP alternatives for obstructive sleep apnea, and much more! This course will also help you meet the state of Michigan's requirement for healthcare professionals to earn continuing education in medical ethics. 

After completing this activity, participants will be able to understand and implement several recent advances in women's health care such as recommending alternative treatment options for obstructive sleep apnea and recognizing the signs and symptoms of trauma in their patients.

Learning Objectives:
At the end of this activity, the participant should be able to:
• Choose appropriate treatment modalities for patients with obstructive sleep apnea.
• Utilize the new screening guidelines for colon cancer.
• Recognize the impact of intense exercise on adolescents.
• Manage osteoporosis with bisphosphonates and identify reasons for referral to a specialist.
• Formulate a comprehensive approach for the management of uterine fibroids.
• Implement trauma-informed care into clinical practice.
