Hand Fracture Fixation Course 2025 is organized by Pulvertaft Hand Centre and will be held from Feb 26 - 27, 2025 at The Museum of Making , Derby, England, United Kingdom.

Description:
This is a 2-day accredited hand fixation workshop in combination with Medartis aimed at plastic and orthopaedic consultants and trainees who deal with hand fractures. (Please note that the course is followed by a 1-day wrist fixation workshop on 28 February).

The faculty consist of national and international hand surgeons, with a high faculty to delegate ratio. The course will consist of a balanced mix of lectures, practical sessions (using saw bones) and discussion groups. Topics covered during the 2 days include:

• K-wires in fracture fixation
• Surgical approaches to the hand: metacarpal and phalanges
• Condylar fractures
• Locking plates
• Rolando fractures
