Best Practice in Radiation Oncology and Novel Therapeutic Approaches - An Annual Update is organized by University of Kansas Medical Center (KUMC) and will be held on Mar 01, 2025 at KU Medical Center - Health Education Building (HEB), Kansas City, Kansas, United States of America.

Event Objectives:

• Review current best practices in radiation therapy for breast cancer, including a summary of recent literature and appropriate applications of various breast cancer radiotherapy dose and fractionation schemes.
• Review current literature regarding the role of radiation therapy and best practices for treatment of oligometastatic/oligoprogressive disease.
• Review best practices in radiation therapy for prostate cancer, both newly diagnosed and recurrent, including utilization of various external beam radiation dose and fractionation schemes, brachytherapy, and proton therapy.
• Review best practices for utilization of proton therapy in treatment of CNS and Head and Neck malignancies.
