This course will focus on the advances in diagnosis and surgical management of a wide spectrum of pediatric retinal diseases. It will feature interactive panel discussions, with debate about different surgical approaches to these pathologies and management of complications.
The course is designed to showcase cutting edge pediatric vitreoretinal  surgical techniques, therapeutic pharmacologic treatment strategies for the pediatric vitreoretinal surgeon, and utilization of advances ophthalmic imaging to improve pediatric patient outcomes. A variety of information will be presented to stimulate the exchange of ideas. Audience participation will be encouraged, and extensive discussion periods will be provided.

  • Define different manifestations of common pediatric retinal conditions
