Cook Children's Jane and John Justin Institute for Mind Health is honored to host our biennial, multi-day pediatric neurosciences conference at the Sheraton Fort Worth Downtown Hotel. Through lectures and master classes we'll focus on the ways health care teams across specialties can work together while caring for children with complex neurologic disorders. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to connect with experts, share ideas and learn from some of the brightest minds in the field. 

Conference Objectives: 

  • Review the diagnosis and treatment of developmental and epileptic encephalopathies, disorders of movement/tone, and neuromuscular disorders highlighting advances in genetic diagnosis and disease modifying therapies.
  • Discuss the diagnosis and management of autism and behavioral disorders of childhood including medicine and non-medicine interventions.
  • Teach, via case-based sessions, methods to evaluate, diagnose and treat common disorders of the nervous system including drug resistant epilepsy, abnormal movement, and chronic pain.
  • Discuss the use of noninvasive methods including magnetoencephalography, high density EEG, and artificial intelligence to delineate biomarkers and functional connectivity in epilepsy, cerebral palsy, and autism.
  • Describe the multi-disciplinary approach to treatment and management of disorders of the nervous system.
