Women in Ophthalmology - New York City - 18th Annual Program is organized by Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (ISMMS) and will be held on Nov 06, 2024 at 3 West Club, New York, United States of America.

Course Overview:
This educational activity will focus on nutrition as it relates to ocular health. This activity will also explore career pathways and opportunities for those embarking on or progressing in a career in ophthalmology including becoming an author, entrepreneur, and leader in the field.

Objectives:

  • Describe the health benefits of nutritional choices to ocular health
  • Discuss challenges inherit to leadership and lessons learned in academic ophthalmology and strategies to overcome these barriers
  • Explain to patients the benefits of certain nutrients on ocular health
  • Identify opportunities and resources available for career advancement in ophthalmology
