Description:
The EACR Conference on Liquid Biopsies will provide a comprehensive overview of liquid biopsies in cancer. It will cover what is already in clinical practice, what is on the horizon in cancer patient management, and the latest techniques and applications for detecting solid tumors using liquid biopsies.  

Liquid biopsies are demonstrating the potential to support early detection and screening of cancer; as a prognostic tool, to predict treatment efficacy or resistance, to evaluate treatment toxicity to monitor minimal residual disease, and to anticipate disease relapse. The diversity and combination of cancer analytes in the blood (including cell-free DNA, cfRNA, CTCs, extracellular vesicles, and proteins) have the potential to boost liquid biopsy utility further.

This conference, with its slate of recognized experts in many aspects of liquid biopsy research, will explore how complex multi-modal liquid biopsy assays could be taken from the laboratory into clinical practice.
