Description:
Columbia University’s multidisciplinary head and neck symposium offers the latest advances in head and neck cancer in the fields of surgical oncology, radiation oncology, and medical oncology. Also, current information about recent advances in the treatment of cutaneous skin cancers in high-risk populations. The primary goal of this course is to guide physicians and allied health staff on the best evidence-based care for patients with head and neck cancers.

At the conclusion of the program, participants will be better able to:
• Discuss the latest advancements in different anatomical head and neck sites.
• Discuss latest advancements in advanced skin squamous cell carcinoma.
• Identify salvage therapy treatment options for recurrent disease.
• Examine survivorship in head and neck cancer.
• Describe best practices in multidisciplinary care of head and neck cancer patients.
