Association of Diabetes Care & Education Specialists (ADCES) 2024 Diabetes Technology Conference is organized by Association of Diabetes Care & Education Specialists (ADCES) and will be held from Dec 13 - 14, 2024 at Fairmont Chicago - Millennium Park, Chicago, Illinois, United States of America.

Objectives:
The Association of Diabetes Care & Education Specialists (ADCES) is the leading organization dedicated to the diabetes care and education specialty. Through education, management, advocacy and collaboration, we represent and support diabetes care and education specialists striving to achieve one goal: to create optimal health outcomes and quality of life for people with prediabetes, diabetes and other cardiometabolic conditions.

The fourth annual Diabetes Technology Conference will equip the diabetes care team with the latest advances in diabetes technologies. The goal is to ensure that diabetes care and education specialists, nurse practitioners, PAs, physicians, and other healthcare professionals are knowledgeable about the newest diabetes technologies and can effectively implement and utilize them to improve clinical outcomes, enhance patient satisfaction, and create more data-driven diabetes care planning. Each session spotlights cutting-edge technology to help manage diabetes and support the individuals with diabetes who use these technologies firsthand. This technology feedback loop fosters collaboration, maximizing both efficiency and satisfaction in diabetes management. Join us to be at the forefront of diabetes care innovation and make a tangible difference in the lives of those we serve.

The ADCES Diabetes Technology Conference aims to:

  • Provide attendees with various levels of diabetes technology education (novice to advanced) to ensure a comprehensive and meaningful experience for all attendees.
  • Teach new knowledge and skills to build technology-enabled care, including devise/program selection and ongoing support through onboarding, skills training, continued education, and support.
  • Foster collaboration by creating networking opportunities for healthcare professionals to share best practices and learning from each other's experiences.

After participating in the Diabetes Technology Conference, attendees will be able to:

  • Describe the benefits and challenges of technology use for People with Diabetes (PWD) to help support sustainable adoption and healthy coping.
