Description:
It is a day-long program that will review current goals of therapy and management strategies for IBS, utilizing the ACG Clinical Guideline for the Management of Irritable Bowel Syndrome as a primary resource. As part of a comprehensive approach to determining and assessing ways to improve communication, diagnosis, and management of patients with IBS, CIC, and other functional GI diseases, the Functional GI and Motility Disorders School program will have a direct impact on clinicians for the delivery of care.
During this course, multiple topics will be covered including colon, IBD, case-based discussions, and expert practice pearls. The structure of the program includes a mix of didactic presentations delivered by expert faculty, case presentations, hands-on workshops, and significant question and answer opportunities.
