Abdominal Imaging Fellowship - MR of Liver and Pancreas is organized by TMC Academy and will be held from May 20 - 24, 2024 at Torre Mapfre, Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain.

Description:
During this abdominal imaging 5-day fellowship participants will discuss liver and pancreas MR techniques with relevant lectures, individual case readings, and group case discussions. The most frequent liver and pancreatic diseases will be illustrated, including cholangiocarcinoma imaging and pancreatic cancer imaging.

Artificial Intelligence applications in liver and pancreatic imaging will be also covered in this body MRI course.

Participation in this radiology fellowship (10 radiologists maximum) ensures a personal learning environment where you will enhance and strengthen your own and each other’s knowledge. In this small group environment among your peers, you are free to ask questions, make mistakes, and learn together with the support of Dr. Giovanni Morana.

Learning objectives:

• Improving knowledge of liver and pancreas MRI techniques
• Learn how the use of liver-specific contrast media can improve the diagnosis of focal liver lesions
• Have an in-depth look at the imaging findings of different hepatic and pancreatic lesions
• Improve the differential diagnosis of focal hepatic and pancreatic lesions
• Discuss the classification of acute and chronic inflammatory lesions of the pancreas

Programme will include:

• Lectures on liver and pancreas MR technique
• Individual reporting on selected cases with supervision/ immediate feedback by the radiologist mentor
• Group case discussion and Q&A
• Individual workstations provided by TMC for the training week
• Access to all course materials via the TMC Academy platform, including discussed cases
• Daily lunches and coffee breaks with your peers and , Dr. Giovanni Morana
• Certificate of attendance - An application has been made to the UEMS/EBR for CME accreditation of this event

Level III - Subspecialisation training Radiologists with little or with early advanced knowledge in abdominal imaging will benefit most from the fellowship, which provides basic and advanced knowledge about the MR of the liver and pancreas specifically.
