2024 Southern Louisiana Headache Symposium is organized by Ochsner Health System and will be held on Oct 12, 2024 at The Gayle and Tom Benson Cancer Center, Jefferson, Louisiana, United States of America.

Description:
This program will provide participants with comprehensive knowledge on the evaluation, recognition, and treatment of a broad spectrum of headache and facial pain disorders. It will cover emergent, acute, and chronic headaches, including migraines, cluster headaches, tension headaches, regional facial pain, painful neuropathies, and complex headache syndromes such as New Onset Daily Persistent Headaches and Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) Syndrome. The content is tailored to the clinical practices of Neurology, Neurosurgery, Pain Management, Physical Therapy, and Dentistry.

Educational Objectives:
By the end of this conference, the participant should be able to:

• Be informed of the systematic approach to the evaluation, recognition, and treatment of a common headache and facial pain conditions such as migraine.
• Be informed of the many facets of pharmacological, interventional, and rehabilitative management of patients with headache and face pain disorders
• Be informed of new technologies and strategies currently utilized in both the emergent/acute management of patients with headache and face pain disorders
• Be informed of the best practices and comprehensive management approaches to complex headache syndromes.
