2024 Masters in Thoracic Oncology Summit (MaTOS) is organized by International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC) and will be held from Nov 21 - 24, 2024 at The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe, Truckee, California, United States of America.
Summit Description:
The Masters in Thoracic Oncology Summit | MaTOS is a 3-day meeting, presented in significant distinct sessions by key thoracic oncology experts. This summit will address and discuss the current challenges and future directions in the lung cancer space. Through open discussions we will have the opportunity to analyze the latest discoveries in genetics and epigenomics in lung cancer, including diagnosis, minimal residual disease (MRD), monitoring for recurrence, and assessment of therapeutic success with targeted therapy and immunotherapy.
Key points will include:
- A comprehensive review of the latest drug developments in thoracic oncology by an expert panel of senior investigators and KOLs in the field.
- Increase the awareness and shared knowledge about the importance of lung cancer screening and successful implementation, including programs not only based on imaging but also on liquid biopsies and other technologies.
- Review and discuss in a multidisciplinary way the application of new developments in lung cancer to the current standards of care and give a critical review of the new products and developments in lung cancer care in a systematic and unbiased way.
- Due to the rapid development of lung cancer agents, it is essential to categorize and classify current data such as utilization of adjuvant, neoadjuvant chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and utilization of current regimens for newly diagnosed lung cancer patients with metastatic disease.

Upon conclusion of this meeting participants will be able to:
